One Way Student Ministry
One Way Student Ministries at Journey is committed to reach, build, nurture and equip youth to be devoted followers of Jesus Christ who will impact the church body, their community, and the world for the glory of God. The Youth Group exists to provide 7th-12th grade students with a safe and welcoming environment where they can be exposed to the Word of God and experience the enjoyment of being part of the family of God.
Join us for Youth Bible Study
A weekly chance to gather, worship, study and pray - for junior and senior high school students, Wednesday evenings, from 6:00—8:00 p.m., held at Journey throughout the school year. We pray for each other and worship God with songs. We study the Bible. Sometimes we spend time separately as guys and girls to pray and discuss issues and topics relevant to us.
Equip on Sunday Mornings
The youth at Journey meet Sunday mornings at 9:15 a.m., in separate classes for junior high and senior high students. In both classes, our time together is spent reading, studying and discussing the Bible. Our goal is to take the truth of God and apply it to our lives and the things we face every day.
One Way Student Ministries introduces IronMen, a youth ministry for young men in grades 7-12. IronMen will meet monthly, typically on the last Friday of each month (6:30-9:00 p.m.). Through study, fellowship, and equipping in life skills, we will pursue godly manhood and what it means to be a Christian man. Dads are encouraged to join us.
