Virtual Vacation Bible School 2020 – Journey with Jesus
You and your child are invited to “Journey with Jesus”, our Virtual Vacation Bible School for 2020! We would love you to have you be part of this exciting adventure! This is a wonderful opportunity for you to bond with your children as you learn about stories from the life of Jesus.
Our Virtual VBS will include:
• A take home packet that includes weekly activities, a memory verse, craft, and snack idea for each of the Bible stories. The packet can be picked up from the church office during normal office hours.
• A weekly email sent each Monday morning in August that will provide a link to a video of the Bible story for that week, as well as a link to some fun VBS songs so that your children can sing along.
Families can watch the videos, do the crafts, enjoy the activity pages, sing the songs, and make the snacks whenever it fits their schedule. The program has been designed for students entering Kindergarten through 5th grade.
Although we would love to be together in person, we hope that you can be blessed in a special way by taking advantage of this unique chance to encourage your children to grow closer to Jesus through these fun activities.

CHURCHTIME: (During the Worship Service)
At this time we are having two services, 9:00 a.m. and 10:45 a.m. We are not able to offer a separate children’s church time, so all children will remain with their parents during the entire service. Children’s bulletins, coloring pages, crayons and pencils are available from the deacons as you enter the sanctuary. Thanks for your understanding as we work to care for each other.
Nursery, Toddlers, and Preschool (Birth – 4 years) – Churchtime classes run for the entire service time, from 10:30 a.m. to the end of the service. Children are loved, cared for, and taught with age-appropriate and engaging curricula.
For students in Kindergarten – 5th grade – Families begin the worship time together. Then, during the sermon, students have the opportunity to participate in an age appropriate church-time class:
Lower Elementary (Kindergarten-2nd grade)
This class will take a look at how each Bible story connects to the Gospel as they learn to see Christ in the Old and New Testaments.
Upper Elementary (3rd grade-5th grade)
This class takes a more detailed look at how each Bible story connects to the Gospel as they learn to see Christ in the Old and New Testaments. The students will also be intentionally equipped to learn how to engage in a worship service as they will eventually transition to joining the church body for the entire worship service.
